The lecture will be held on Thursday, May 10, 2018, at 16.00 h

in the “Grad” Hall of Hotel Lev (13th floor) at Vošnjakova 1, Ljubljana.

 

Prof. Dr. Hristijan Mickoski has been since December 2017 President of the conservative Macedonian party VMRO-DPMNE, which is the member of the European People's Party (EPP). He is Associated Professor at the Faculty of Engineering, University „St. Cyril and Methodius“ in Skopje. He was also Secretary General of the VMRO-DPMNE as well as Director General of the leading Macedonian energy corporation ELEM a.d., Skopje.

 

He is one of the most visible and promising conservative politicians of his generation in the region.

 

His main ambitions are the membership of Macedonia in the EU and NATO as well as establishing of the VMRO-DPMNE as a strong conservative political party in the Macedonian political scene.

 

The lecture will be delivered in English and will be followed by a discussion with the guest lecturer which will be moderated by Assist. Prof. Dr. Zijad Bećirović and Bakhatyar Aljaf.
