Would like to invite you to a roundtable and a discussion entitled

 

Nostalgia of ideologies: Titoism 

 

on Tuesday, 20 December 2016, at 16.00 h

in the “Grad” Hall of Hotel Lev (13th floor) at Vošnjakova 1, Ljubljana.

 

Various ideologies are now often mentioned. There is almost no life without any ideologies or their relapses. Ideologies are often intertwined. The contemporary world is worried about the revival of gloomy ideologies, their interpretations and reinterpretations. Do we live in ideological societies?

 

These important questions will be discussed by the following esteemed guests:

  • Prof. Dr. Boštjan M. Zupančič, former Judge of the European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) in Strasbourg
  • Prof. Dr. Ernest Petrič, former President of the Constitutional Court of the Republic of Slovenia and longtime member of International Law Commission (ILC)
  • Prof. Dr. Albin Igličar, Professor Emeritus at Faculty of Law, University of Ljubljana  
  • Prof. Dr. Martin Berishaj, Professor and expert on Albanian issues

 

The opening speech and keynote address will be given by Marjetka Kastner, director of LLA.

 

The round table will be held in Slovenian and moderated by Assist. Prof. Dr. Zijad Bećirović.
