The novel »The Rainbow beyond the Soul« (“Mavrica izza duše) is the first part of a trilogy on the Slovenian diplomacy entitled "Lady in White" and now comes to the readers in a unique Albanian-Arab bilingual edition. The book, which is next to the Slovenian original issue, published in Albanian and Turkish, was issued by Založba Forma 7 from Ljubljana. The second part entitled "Search for lost souls" was released recently by the same label.

The central theme of the novel, which deals with the way of life of diplomats, with their outstanding social position and their particular way of work, in foreign surroundings requiring particular behavior, a high level of culture and knowledge, is linked with accompanying motifs of their personal as well as emotional lives. Both thematic threads are followed by exceptionally emphasized mind perpetuum or even game, a directly and honestly formulated and developed philosophy of life, born of the memories of the central character or in the ongoing deep musings on the circumstances of diplomatic work and the changing balances between personal engagement and satisfaction as well as inner freedom and honesty.
