The future of the EU and the Balkans

 

on Friday, March 29, 2019, at 15.00,

in Grand Hotel Union Business, mezzanine, hall “Rose room”, Miklošičeva 3, Ljubljana.

 

Dr. Igor Šoltes, Slovenian Member of the European Parliament (Group of the Greens/European Free Alliance), is Vice-Chair of the Delegation to the EU-Serbia Stabilization and Association Parliamentary Committee, a member of the delegation to the EU-Albania Stabilization and Association Parliamentary Committee, and also the EP rapporteur for Kosovo.

His efforts are aimed at strengthening the reputation of Slovenia within the EU and at the process of EU enlargement to the Western Balkans.

In his lecture dr. Šoltes will speak about the current situation in the EU, the position and role of Slovenia and the process of EU enlargement to the Western Balkans.

 

The lecture will be held in Slovene. After the lecture, the discussion will follow moderated by Assist. Prof. Dr. Zijad Bećirović and Bakhtyar Aljaf. Please, take your seats in the hall by 14.55 at the latest.
