Bosnia and Herzegovina 2026: Between political recycling and democratic renewal

The 2026 General Elections will test Bosnia and Herzegovina’s political maturity, institutional resilience and European future. They will show whether citizens can break three decades of ethnic obstruction, vote buying and political clientelism and choose accountable government, stronger institutions, the rule of law and faster progress towards Europe.
