Kazakhstan 2026: A Responsible Middle Power and Strategic Connector of Eurasia

The analysis examines Kazakhstan’s rise as a responsible middle power under President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev, highlighting its multi-vector diplomacy, strategic redundancy, nuclear disarmament and role as a bridge between China, Europe and other geopolitical centers. It argues that Kazakhstan strengthens its strategic autonomy by diversifying partnerships while promoting multilateralism, international cooperation and inclusive global governance.
