The year 2022 represents a turning point for Europe. After the Russian invasion of Ukraine, security in Europe became a first-rate issue. The Western Balkans gained importance again with North Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina being in focus. In the new circumstances, according to the experts, both countries are of the most importance for the stability of the Western Balkans.

At the international round table, we will talk with the competent ministers for security from North Macedonia and Bosnia and Herzegovina how to make those countries and the entire Western Balkans better and more prosperous. Can the Ukrainian crisis contribute to the countries of the region to become full members of the EU as soon as possible? We will discuss this and other topics with:

  • Oliver Spasovski, Minister of interior of the Republic of North Macedonia
  • Nenad Nešić, Minister of security of Bosnia and Herzegovina
