CAN SLOVENIA OVERCOME THE CRISIS?
which will be held on Wednesday, 27 March 2013 at 16.00 h

In recent months, the political situation in Slovenia has raised anxiety among its citizens. Many of them have expressed their disappointment at anti-government protests. In the meanwhile, new government has been formed and the people are wandering what they can expect from it. Is early election the only way forward, as some believe? How to deal with the crisis? Besides the political and economic impact the crisis has numerous other dimensions and demands complex approaches in order to overcome it. Answers should be found on how to tackle the general social apathy that has been caused by the moral, institutional and other aspects of the crisis. What changes are needed in Slovenia and how to implement them?
Those and other issues will be discussed at the round table by the following experts:
● Dr. Mihael Brejc, university professor, former Minister and MEP
● Peter Frankl, Editor-in-Chief and Director of the Finance business daily
● Sebastjan Jeretič, M.A., expert on election campaigns,
● Bojan Požar, the founder and editor-in-chief of www.pozareport.si
