Lecture by Jadranka Kosor: The Republic of Croatia on the eve of EU accession

the International Institute for Middle-East and Balkan Studies (IFIMES)

THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA ON THE EVE

OF EU ACCESSION

which will be delivered by

Mrs. Jadranka Kosor,

former Prime Minister of the Republic of Croatia.


The lecture will be held on Thursday, 11 April 2013 at 16.00 h

in the “Grad” hall of Hotel Lev (13th floor) at Vošnjakova 1, Ljubljana.

On 1 July 2013 the Republic of Croatia will become full member of the European Union. EU negotiations were successfully concluded by the government led by Mrs. Jadranka Kosor.

At the lecture former Croatian Prime Minister will talk about the negotiations with the EU,Croatia's expectations from the full membership status and the current situation in this country. After the lecture Mrs. Kosor, who is also the winner of the Institute's “Personality of the Year 2010” award, will answer the questions from the audience.

The lecture will be delivered in the Croatian language and will be followed by a discussion moderated by Zijad Bećirović and Bakhatyar Aljaf.
