In the framework of the "West Balkans and the EU" lecture cycle

the International Institute for Middle-East and Balkan Studies (IFIMES)

invites You kindly to take part at the lecture entitled

SLOVENIAN FOREIGN POLICY AND ITS ROLE IN THE WESTERN BALKANS

which will be delivered by

Mr. Samuel Žbogar,

Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia.


The lecture will be held on Thursday, 7 January 2010, at 16 h
in the Auditorium of Center Evropa at Dalmatinova 4 in Ljubljana



Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia Mr. Samuel Žbogar will lecture on Slovenian foreign policy and its role in the Western Balkans. He will present the future activities of Slovenian foreign policy, with special emphasis laid on the Western Balkans. He will also talk about EU’s common foreign policy and its role in the world.

The lecture will be delivered in the Slovenian language. Simultaneous interpretation into English language will be provided.

The lecture will be followed by a discussion with the guest which will be moderated by
Zijad Bećirović and Bakhatyar Aljaf.
