In the framework of the "West Balkans and the EU" lecture cycle,

the International Institute for Middle-East and Balkan Studies (IFIMES)

invites You kindly to take part at the lecture delivered by

Željk0 Komšić,

Chairman of the Presidency of Bosnia and Herzegovina,

entitled

“BOSNIA AND HERZEGOVINA AND THE WEST BALKANS ON THE WAY TO THE EUROPEAN UNION”


which will take place on Friday, 27 November 2009, at 16.00 h
in the Auditorium of Center Evropa at Dalmatinova 4 in Ljubljana



Bosnia and Herzegovina Presidency Chairman Željko Komšić will speak about current events and the future of Bosnia and Herzegovina and other West Balkan states on their way to EU and NATO. He will also discuss the foreign policy of Bosnia and Herzegovina and its non-permanent membership in the UN Security Council as of 1 January 2010.

The lecture will be delivered in the Bosnian/Croatian/Serbian language. Simultaneous interpretation into English will be provided.

The lecture will be followed by a discussion with the guest which will be moderated by
Zijad Bećirović and Bakhatyar Aljaf.
