which will be held on Thursday, September 20, 2018, at 17.00 h, in hotel "Lev", 13th floor, hall "Center", Vošnjakova 1, Ljubljana.

 

 

Ivan Jakovčić (ALDE / IDS-DDI) is a member of the European Parliament. He is a Vice President of the Delegation to the Stabilization and Association Committee of Albania – EU, he is a member of the Committee on Regional Development (AGRI) and of the Committee on Agriculture and Rural Development (REGI). He was also a Minister for European Integration and a member of the Croatian Parliament. He is a founder and long-time president of the Istrian Democratic Council - Diet democratica istriana (IDS-DDI), one of the most successful regional parties in Europe. He acted as the mayor of the Istrian County.

At the lecture, MP Jakovčić will talk about current events in the EU, Euro-Atlantic integration of the Western Balkan countries, and about regional development and cooperation.

 

The lecture will be delivered in Croatian and will be followed by a discussion with the guest lecturer moderated by Assist. Prof. Dr. Zijad Bećirović and Bakhatyar Aljaf.
