Former Minister of Interior and Foreign Affairs of Republic of Macedonia

 

The lecture will be held on Monday, 28th November 2016 at 16.00 h

in the “Grad” hall of Hotel Lev (13th floor) at Vošnjakova 1, Ljubljana.

 

Prof. Dr. Ljubomir Danailov Frčkoski is professor of public international law and international relations at the University "St. Cyril and Methodius" in Skopje. He served as Minister of the Interior and Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Macedonia. He was a presidential candidate.

 

He is one of the most active intellectuals in the Macedonian public scene. His efforts are geared towards transparency and full enjoyment of civil liberties and prosperity for all citizens of Macedonia.

 

In his lecture Dr. Frčkoski will discuss the current situation in Macedonia in view of early elections, to be held on 11 December 2016, the future of this country, which is related to regional and neighborly cooperation and membership in NATO and the EU.

 

The lecture will be delivered in the south Slavic languages. The lecture will be followed by a discussion with the guest lecturer moderated by Dr. Zijad Bećirović and Bakhatyar Aljaf.
